For Some, Deferred Action Eliminates Fear Of Being Undocumented

When President Obama announced the government would no longer deport young undocumented immigrants who arrived in the U.S. when they were children, many immigrants emerged from the shadows and revealed their status. We'll hear from a young undocumented Las Vegan about how federal deferred action lifted that fear for him, but still remains for some of his loved ones.

    I know this Rafael Lopez he was an IB student I was in the same classroom with him in many classes he did not socialize with me.

    If someone is in the U.S. illegally, they should rightly fear deportation, for they are here, duh, illegally. If these illegal aliens want to be legal and thus alleviate their fear, there are long established legal processes that will do that. Indeed, well over 1 million (!) people per year *legally* immigrate to the U.S. and become citizens.
