Gov. Sandoval this week said he will expand Medicaid in Nevada under the federal Affordable Care Act. The expansion will allow an additional 78,000 low-income Nevadans to get coverage under Medicaid. Under the law the federal government will cover 100 percent of the cost for medical care in the first three years and Nevada will eventually share some of those costs. We'll talk with Las Vegas Sun's senior politics editor, Anjeanette Damon about Gov. Sandoval's decision and what it means for Nevada residents.
