Max Grinnell loves walking around cities. He thinks it's the only way to find the small festivals and establishments that create the diversity of urban life. He will be speaking this weekend at a series of lectures at the Las Vegas Clark County Libraries.

I love city walking - grew up in the east and spent time in DC, Baltimore, Philly, New York, and Boston. I *do not* walk around Vegas primarily because of the porn. Pushed in my face, strewn in bushes and on the ground. We go to Vegas events, but always drive as much as possible.
