A Voucher System is a vicious circle - monies taken away from public schools to fund vouchers for families who cannot afford (underline afford) a private/religious school. Mo Denis, it is not a 'right' to receive a voucher, it is a 'right' for your child to attend a public school!! As Mo Denis stated 'parents have a right to choose' . Fine, choose but not at the privilege of receiving a voucher that takes monies from your neighborhood PUBLIC school.

When you are discussing class size please keep in mind the physical dimensions of the actual classroom. Especially in the older schools the rooms are not physically big enough for 30 desks and children and teachers and books etc.

Why doesn't class size reduction apply school by school? CCSD only has to report the average across the district. This means some schools are still over the ratio while the smaller, rural areas have many less students.
