Surveys show that people who go to public libraries want more e-book options. But, the same survey shows that people in general still want to have traditional books to check out. COMMENTS:
The age of public libraries has come and gone. With nearly universal online access, and used book/CD/DVD stores that offer goods for pennies on the dollar, there is absolutely no one in this entire country that cannot afford to acquire any media they want. In that context, I resent paying for the parasites who choose to not purchase their own media, but instead tax me to support their ridiculous library that, these days, is filled with mostly crap anyway.
