Trying To End The Bear Hunt
Trying To End The Bear Hunt

AIR DATE: March 21, 2013

There is now an effort to end the hunting of black bears in Nevada. Senate Bill 82, drafted by the Committee on Natural Resources, would prohibit the state's Board of Wildlife Commissioners from allowing the hunt of black bears and make the animal a protected mammal. Is the bear in danger of being pushed out of the area? Just how much of a nuissance is the animal to homeowners?

Senator Tick Segerblom, Democrat District 3
