I wonder if we could impose a law that would hold lawyers responsible when people that they have represented and successfully defended go on to commit crimes.

Lewis Hernandez has obviously had a lot of coffee this AM. Never heard him to into an interview before. Too excellent. The matter at hand is a matter of a violation of civil rights. Plain and simple. If you make people live 10 years longer you still end up with a medical bill that's about the same as if they died 10 years earlier.... only it's spread out over 10 years and maybe we wasted more money in social security checks in the long run. BTW I love our seniors and one day I'll be one but just speaking from a matter of money... that's just how it is. When we are old, we are a liability to the govt. not an asset. When we die early, they save money.

People who make or made their living at taxpayer expense (elected/appointed officials, employees, etc.) should NOT be registered as lobbyists, EVER. That, friends, is putting the foxes in charge of the hen house. Further, I've read that most lobbyists at the state level are actually hired guns of various government agencies! How wrong is that?!?
