Same-sex couples aren't waiting for the Supreme Court to hear a challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act. They're already getting married, and even holding commitment ceremonies in states like Nevada where same-sex marriage is banned by law. But the wedding industry hasn't necessarily adapted to serve the needs of same-sex couples. Same-sex wedding consultant Kathryn Hamm and photographer Thea Dodds are trying to change that with the publication of Capturing Love: The Art of Lesbian and Gay Wedding Photography. Looking forward to this interview. I met Thea Dodds at the photography convention this week in Las Vegas. Shameless plug: my studio welcomes gay individuals, couples and families for weddings and every other wonderful life event. We are so happy this book was written!
