Just typical union thuggery, backed up by ridiculous FDR-era government pro-union laws. The free market that we nominally have in this country guarantees that if someone improves their productivity, i.e. their value to the company, they will be paid more. In short, people are paid what they are worth, and if they are not, in their mind, they should seek other work. But, if they are adding no extra value, they should not expect pay increases in excess of inflation.

Workers' wages haven't increased alongside rises in worker productivity for the last 30 years. Our "free market" has been consistently undervaluing workers for a generation

You must be joking. Where do you work, that you honestly feel improving your productivity gets you more pay? 'Cause I assure you it's not like that at the Cosmopolitan.

We might not always agree with how the unions work these days. However, history shows if it wasnt for the unions we as Americans would be working in really bad conditions and Employers would be abusing the American workers even more. This is to the union workers and those who are not in the unions do what is right to continue to protect us as American workers. We as Americians need to stand behind the people. We are not a third world country. We are the United States of America.
