President Obama committed his administration to raising the minimum wage to $9 an hour and then indexing the wage so it goes up with prices. But the plan has been denounced by Republicans who say it will make it much harder for young and unskilled workers to get any jobs. So how will the administration respond as it tries to get Congress to enact the raise?
