The Clark County Commission has already voted to abolish the Las Vegas Constable's office. The legislature may vote to do it even sooner. It's a drastic remedy for a serious problem with scandals and mismanagement that have emerged in the last two years. But how should a constable's office be operated? And why is abolition the only remedy?
