The band's five members Peggy Ruesch (Guitar and vocals), Jan Ruesch (bass), Vera Vann-Wilson (banjo), Leon Evans (guitar) and Tom Flagg (mandolin) join us in the performance studio to discuss and play their music. The band will be playing tonight, June 19th, at the Bandstand Jam Series. The concert starts at 7pm at East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center at 250 N. Eastern Avenue.

... on his mission to change the perception of the tuba as a solo instrument. He will be playing in the recital Friday, March 20 at 7:30pm in the Beam Music Center on the UNLV campus.

Ten members of the ensemble join us to talk about their repetoire which includes light classics, jazz, Dixie and Broadway tunes. The group is composed of a brass quintet of trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba... and spliced with a sax, guitar, drums and singers. The Traditional Arabic Music Ensemble will be performing at the Winchester Cultural Center Feb 15 at 2pm.
