On July 20, 2002 Maggie Winn-Jones and David Bert of KNPR hosted a bus trip to the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City. We gathered outside the KNPR studios for a group photo before boarding the bus. |
The adventurers boarded the bus with their lunch and took their seats. |
On the way up to the festival Maggie Winn-Jones dispensed valuable information about Shakespeare and the play we were about to see... 'As You Like It'. David Bert then presented a video of some of his favorite places 'Along the Way' to Cedar City. |
When we arrived a member of the festival's staff came out to greet us and give us our tickets. |
We immediately went to the Adams Theatre where we enjoyed an orientation for the play. Here we received more valuable information enabling us to understand and enjoy the play. |
After the performance attendees were treated to a punch and cookie reception. It was an opportunity to chat with fellow travelers and discuss the play. |
Jerry Crawford hosted a literary seminar just for the KNPR group. It was a chance for people to ask questions and make comments about the play. It was a great trip and we all look forward to our next adventure. |
