S. Nevada Health District Hits E-Cigarettes

The Southern Nevada Health District today condemned electronic cigarettes and pledged to back efforts to restrict their sale.

In an advisory citing studies that show that e-cigarettes contain carcinogens, they urged lawmakers to include e-cigarettes in the state’s Clean Indoor Air Act, which regulates where people can and cannot smoke.

They also favor placing age, marketing and flavor restrictions on e-cigarettes and similar devices.
