Clark County Issues Air Advisory For 4th Of July

Anticipating smoke and ozone from fireworks over the Fourth of July holiday, the Clark County Department of Air Quality issued an advisory today for Saturday and Sunday.

Dust from smoke and ground-level ozone can aggravate respiratory diseases, such as asthma and bronchitis, as well as heart diseases, they said in a press release.

They advise everyone to limit strenuous outdoor activities and said children and older people should stay indoors.
