Sex Ed Debate Delayed Until Fall

The Clark County School Board won’t talk about its sex education policy again until fall.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports District F Trustee Carolyn Edwards planned to request that a sex education advisory committee draft proposed curriculum changes.

Other board members were worried about angering parents and voted to prevent Edwards from submitting the request.

The request didn’t include official action and wouldn’t have changed any policies.
