RENO, Nev. (AP) — The national kayak championships will be held in Reno this year.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that the 2016 U.S. National Whitewater Freestyle Championships will be held during the Reno River Festival at the Truckee River Whitewater Park.
The event in May will also feature kayak and fishing clinics, music performances, a craft beer village, a group bike ride, yoga and a costume contest.
