Driving conditions in Las Vegas and southern Nevada may become difficult as strong winds are expected throughout the day.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory in effect from 11 a.m. Monday through 8 a.m. Tuesday.
It's expected to peak it the afternoon in Las Vegas, as well as parts of southern Nye County and Death Valley National Park and the White Mountains of Inyo County in California.

Semi-trucks and other high profile vehicles on the road should use extra caution as they may face wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour, dangerous crosswinds and low visibility due to blowing dust and sand.
The weather system will also bring a temperature drop. Monday's high of 80 degrees will drop to a 55-degree low in the overnight hours.
