Las Vegas police have announced plans to begin patrolling recreation areas on motorcycle.
The Las Vegas Sun reports Metro has created a four person squad that traverses recreation areas on motorcycles in order to more easily maneuver through the parks.
The program will also be expanded to areas downtown, or wherever spaces are crowded.

The program has been in a pilot phase since the middle of January at Tule Springs and has already been successful in catching a few troublemakers.
The department says the program is meant to cut down on graffiti and other violations of park rules.
Officers will be testing two different kinds of motorcycle – one electric, one gas-powered – to see which one works best.
