Officials: Terror Threat At Circus-Circus Unfounded

Nevada counter-terrorism officials say they're glad people reported a potential terror threat on the Las Vegas Strip even though the concern turned out to be unfounded.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that an arrest report says security at the hotel-casino Circus Circus reported Thursday that a van in the parking lot was leaking what appeared to be diesel fuel from one of several plastic containers. The report says a worker spotted another van with similar contents.

Las Vegas detectives determined that the liquid was diesel and arrested four people in connection with the stolen vans. Three have been charged and the fourth does not currently face charges.
