Officials in Bullhead City, Arizona are planning a series of public works initiatives to improve flood control.
The Mohave Daily News reports roadways and drains will be rehabbed throughout parts of the city, along with widening shoulders on certain roads.
Flood control channels in Rotary Park will also be installed in order to ease the flow of water that goes into the Colorado River.
