Drone Air Traffic System Being Tested In Northern Nevada
A new system is intended to manage drone air traffic.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports NASA and the University of Nevada, Reno's NUANCE Lab tested the system for the second time last week.
A NASA official said the question is how to manage many unmanned aircraft systems both within view and beyond a line of sight.
The Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management program was designed to help in emergencies.
Testing was conducted last week at the Reno-Stead Airport.
