Mormon WikiLeaks Plans To Leak LDS documents

A new website plans to showcase leaked Mormon documents.

The Salt Lake Tribune reportsthat Ryan McKnight plans to launch Mormon Wikileaks today, a website where anonymous tipsters – including those who work for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – can post papers by and about the Utah-based faith’s programs, policies and policymakers.

McKnight has declined to report whether the debut will include any new finds. Critics of the new enterprise have cited concerns about legal issues included nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements most church employees sign.

McKnight is a former Latter-day Saint of Las Vegas. During the church’s fall conference in October, McKnight facilitated posting of 15 videos showing Mormon apostles privately discussing topics ranging from gay rights to politics to piracy. The church did not dispute any of the videos.

Sink your teeth into our annual collection of dining — and drinking — stories, including a tally of Sin City's Tiki bars, why good bread is having a moment, and how one award-winning chef is serving up Caribbean history lessons through steak. Plus, discover how Las Vegas is a sports town, in more ways than one. Bon appétit!
