MGM Pledges $3M To Assist Shooting Survivors, Victims' Families

MGM Resorts International says its MGM Resorts Foundation will donate $3 million to assist victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas. 

In an announcement Tuesday, MGM Resorts CEO Jim Murren expressed outrage and grief over what he called “this senseless and horrific attack on our community.” 

But he also added the company is “inspired” by police, first responders. and civilians who risked their own lives to save others.

MGM says it is also providing victims, their families, and emergency personnel with food, accommodations, grief counseling and transportation.
