Firefighters Called To Large Fire At Vacant Moulin Rouge Apt. Building

Las Vegas firefighters battled a large, smoky blaze at the vacant Moulin Rouge apartment building.

Fire officials said the fire started early this morning and spread quickly through the two-story concrete-block building.

Crews found heavy flames and smoke when they arrived. Las Vegas fire and rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski said crews have the fire under control, but it will likely take hours to fully extinguish the flames.
