Memorial Crosses Seen By Iconic 'Welcome' Sign
Visitors to the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign will now see a memorial to honor the victims who died in Sunday’s mass shooting.
Greg Zanis, a retired carpenter from Chicago, arrived with 58 crosses to honor those who were killed.
anis is well known for erecting more than 20,000 of the markers over the last two decades, including after the Columbine and Sandy Hook school shootings and the massacre at the Orlando nightclub.
The crosses feature a red heart, and will be featured for 40 days by the sign before being given to the families of the victims.
