Lucky Dragon Hotel-Casino Suspends Gaming, Restaurant Operations
The Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino announced Thursday that it is closing all of its gaming and restaurant operations and laying off staff.
The beleaguered hotel has only been open a little over a year, and it began reducing the number of employees during the summer.
It is designed to cater primarily to the growing Asian-American and Asian immigrant crowd in Las Vegas and West Coast cities.
In a statement, the casino said all gaming and ticket redemptions can be done through the front desk at the hotel but all previous gaming and food promotions will no longer be valid.
The hotel and gift shop will remain open.
