2nd Teen Charged With Murder In 'Russian Roulette' Death

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A second teenager has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a 17-year-old in suburban Las Vegas in what has been attributed to a deadly game of "Russian roulette."

The 17-year-old boy was charged as an adult Monday in Henderson. Prosecutors previously accused a 16-year-old boy of pulling the trigger and charged him with murder.

The Associated Press is not naming the teens because they are juveniles.

Attorney Keith Brower represents the 17-year-old boy. In court, he pointed to statements suggesting his client appeared to be asleep when Matthew Minkler was shot in the chin last month.

Records show police obtained video of Minkler's body in a kitchen of an abandoned house hours before it was found in a closet with an expletive reference to his name spray-painted on the door.
