Health District Reports Number Of Drownings Trending Upward

The Southern Nevada Health District reports the number of drownings in the valley has trended upward in recent years, peaking in 2017 at 39 deaths.

The district says drowning is the leading cause of unintentional injury and death in Clark County for children 4 and under.

So far in 2018, there have been 19 drownings in Clark County.
