Bill Deadline Looms In Nevada Legislature

April 12 is the deadline for bills in the Nevada Legislature to win committee approval in the house where they were introduced.

The Nevada Appeal reports that the Assembly Judiciary Committee processed nearly two dozen measures before adjourning Friday. The Government Affairs committee processed 12 measures, and Senate Judiciary committee sent a six to the floor.

Unless a bill has been granted an exemption or has been referred to one of the money committees, it must receive committee approval by next Friday or it’s dead.
