After being on administrative leave for almost a month, Henderson police chief LaTesha Watson has been fired.
Watson was on leave since March, after an independent investigator recommended officials consider firing her.
She didn’t sign a separation contract that would have her resign in May and agree not to disparage the city.
With that choice, she gave up some $24,000 dollars in salary, severance pay and benefits.
