Promoters of the Laughlin River Regatta have canceled the popular Colorado River tube float festival.
The event had drawn crowds of up to 30,000 to Laughlin in past years.
The regatta had been put on by the Colorado Belle and Edgewater casinos, which were sold earlier this year.
The properties’ new owners, Las Vegas-based Golden Entertainment, announced this week they were scrapping the August 10 event.
