2 Apparent Jail Suicides Investigated In Washoe County

RENO, Nev. (AP) — The Washoe County sheriff's office is investigating two apparent suicides that occurred at the county jail in Reno on the same day last week.

The sheriff's office says both of the victims were males but they've released few other details.

The sheriff says deputies and medical staff at the jail first responded to a medical emergency involving a male inmate at about 11:30 a.m. Friday.
