Nevada SPCA Board Steps Down

The entire board of directors for Nevada’s only no-kill shelter has stepped down.

A complaint was filed March 29 with the attorney general’s office accusing the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ former president of spending funds from the shelter’s purse for personal use.

In the same vote, it decided to step down, the board turned over operations to the Reno-based Humane Network.
