Nevada will be getting grants from the federal government to improve some of its bridges.
The Department of Transportation is granting $225 million in Competitive Highway Bridge Program.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao announced Thursday that Nevada is one of 18 states to receive money to fund bridge improvements.
The project will improve the condition of two bridges on Interstate 515 in Las Vegas.
