Nevada's First Coronavirus Patient Released From Hospital
The first person to be diagnosed with the coronavirus in Nevada has been released from the hospital.
Ronald Pipkins was released Monday afternoon. A crowd of cheered him on as he rolled out of the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center.
Two months ago, Pipkins was diagnosed with the virus. Three weeks ago, he awoke from a coma. He has been transferred to a rehabilitation center.
Pipkins, 55, is a Marine Corps Veteran. He was admitted to the hospital on March 2 with pneumonia. When he developed a fever, he was tested for the virus and the test came back positive.
