McCarran International Airport handled less than half the passengers in March compared to the same month a year ago.
The airport had 2.1 million travelers come through during the month, which is down 53 percent compared to the airport's 4.4 million passengers for March 2019.
And, April’s passenger count will be much lower, given that travel in the U.S. has plunged about 95 percent.
