State Reports Expansion Of Coronavirus Testing
As of Sunday, Nevada health officials reported a little more than 9,000 new tests had been preformed for COVID-19.
That puts the state’s overall total for testing up to nearly 284,000.
So far out of that, there have been about 13,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nevada, as well as 487 deaths.
Clark County accounts for fourth fifths of the cases and deaths.
The number of new cases has climbed as Nevada has expanded testing capacity and reopened casinos, restaurants, and other businesses in a limited fashion.
