Health Officials Estimate Weeks Before Next Age Tier Will Get Vaccine

The Southern Nevada Health District says it will be several weeks before members of the general public between the ages of 65 and 69 can get their first doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the problem is supply. Clark County now receives 22,000 doses of vaccine a week from the federal government.

There are more than 228,000 people in the county 70 and older, and they will have priority, along with members of groups deemed essential.
