Cartoonist Alison Bechdel

Alison Bechdel came out as a lesbian, then found out her father was gay. She dealt with it the best way she knew how: by turning it into a comic book. The artist talks to us about her family history, drawing a popular comic about lesbians, and what happened after her father died.
