Control Of Congress And The Fate Of Nevada

U.S. Sen. Harry Reid has led the majority in the Senate for almost eight years. And in that time, he has used his power to hamper efforts to build a nuclear waste dump in Yucca Mountain, and brought money for roads into Southern California.

But now, his tenure as Senate Majority Leader could be coming to an end. Most prognosticators are predicting a Republican takeover of the Senate in November. If Sen. Reid loses control of the majority -- how will that affect the state of Nevada? And will it put an end to his political career?

We also look ahead to 2016. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is visiting Nevada. Does the visit indicate that she is planning to announce a campaign for president? And is the Silver State poised to become a key state in the upcoming election?
