Las Vegas Author Seeks Crowd Funding For New Book

Atlantic City is the focus of a new book by David Schwartz. He's looking for crowd funding to finance the book.

As director of the Center for Gaming Research, David Schwartz oversees UNLV’s hub for scholarly analysis of gaming issues.

He is also the author of several successful books about gaming and history. Including the soon to be released – “Boardwalk Playground: The Making, Unmaking, and Remaking of Atlantic City.”

But, Schwartz found him with a familiar problem. He needed money to self-publish the book. So he did what people do these days: He started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding.
