Should the Cheyenne Campus of the College of Southern Nevada change its name?

The College of Southern Nevada has three campuses. One of them, on Charleston, is where our station sits, the second is in Henderson. The third one – known as the Cheyenne Campus – is in North Las Vegas.

That name doesn’t sit well with the city’s mayor, John Lee.

Cheyenne is a city in Wyoming. The College of Southern Nevada is in North Las Vegas. And, says Lee, it should have North Las Vegas’ name on it.

John Lee talked to KNPR's State of Nevada about the possibility of changing the name.
