Movie lovers can enjoy Nevada’s largest film festival as the 22ndAnnual Dam Short Film Festival returns to screen more than 150 short films over a 6-day period February 11-16, 2026.
With over two decades of successfully entertaining audiences, the Dam Short Film Festival will showcase 32 carefully selected thematic 60- to 90-minute program blocks in categories including Animation, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Horror (presented on Friday the 13th), International, Sci-Fi, Nevada, Love & Romance (presented on Valentines Day), and Underground. Each short film will be presented using state-of-the-art digital projection in Boulder City's Elaine K. Smith Building.

Miniature fun for creative and curious people! Imagine hundreds of tiny worlds created by dozens of miniaturists under one roof! Discover the stories, the artistry, and the obsession behind the miniature movement. Join the makers, collectors, and dreamers who build big in small scale, such as Paige Hammond, John Paulo Pabustan, Susan Canaday Henry, and Haley Costomiris.
The annual Little Air and Style ski and snowboard competition is a celebration of youth, open to kids of all skill levels ages 4 to 16. On-site registration starts at 10 a.m.; the competition on Rabbit Peak runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony.
Participants will be grouped by age—12 and under and 13 to 16—and judged on a slopestyle run featuring terrain park-inspired jumps and jibs designed for each skill level. While registration is free, kids must have a Power Kids Pass or a day pass. Children can use their own equipment or rentals can be booked in advance online.

It's the 58th annual Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin St. Patrick's Day Festival, the 21st year in Henderson. The carnival and festival kick off on Friday. They continue on Saturday after the parade, and on Sunday, with a classic car show thrown in. Food, vendors, children's activities, music, and more.
