LAS VEGAS (AP) — An overnight storm brought rain to the Las Vegas area and enough snow in Summerlin for people to make snowmen.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that the National Weather Service reported about 2 inches of snow in Summerlin.
About ½ inch of rain fell in the rest of the Las Vegas Valley.

National Weather Service meteorologist Justin Pullin says snow started falling in Summerlin about 1 a.m. Monday and last a few hours.
Pullin says 10 inches of snow fell at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort on Mount Charleston.
Monday is expected to cloudy with a high of about 50 degrees in the valley. The forecast calls for warmer temperatures on Tuesday.
